NEXT STATED MEETING:  APRIL 03, 2008 

FROM THE EAST
April portends to be an important month for Hillcrest Lodge.  Scheduled for the 3rd is our Homecoming—Reunion that will begin the observance of our 60th year as a Lodge.  This will be an evening of ritual, food, fellowship, and recognition of service awardees and Past Masters.

On April 7, Hillcrest will host one of the area Masonic Education Workshops presented by Bro. Harold Collum.  Our Grand Master, M:.W:. Tommy Griffin, makes his official visit to the 14th District on April 30.

These events are open to all Hillcrest Masons and I encourage your participation.  I particularly hope you will join us on Thursday, April 3 and be part of the Master Mason Degree.   Our candidate has made suitable proficiency and the evening will be an exciting time for all.  You will be proud of our degree team in the first section and impressed by the Knights of Mecca as they perform the second section.  Presentations will be made by some of our Past Masters.

If you feel reluctant to come to lodge fearing that you will have difficulty gaining admission or will be embarrassed by not remembering any of the work.  Let me assure you that will not happen.  If there is not a brother present that can vouch for you, then all that is required is your dues card and a driver’s license.

Come and enjoy this evening with us; it could be habit forming.
